UF Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for PRN shifts, 7:00am–7:00pm, to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCA will help maintain a safe, clean, and patient-centered environment while delivering service excellence to patients and families.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, and readiness to complete Crisis Prevention Institute training within 90 days for the Psychiatric unit.

Formación

• Teamwork and professional communication with the healthcare team.
• Ability to learn and apply hospital computer technologies and procedures affecting patient care.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology; ability to read/write in English.
