Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Pre-Operative team. The PCA will support nurses and the surgical team by preparing patients for procedures and delivering patient-centered care throughout the pre-operative process.

Role requires strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting, with responsibilities including vital signs, documentation, room preparation, and safe transport of patients between pre-op and post-op

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; CNA preferred.
  • Experience in patient care, healthcare, or surgical settings.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and pre-operative procedures.
  • Ability to follow directions, adhere to protocols, and maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods.

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Southwest is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Pre-Operative (Pre-Op) team. Our center provides high-quality, patient-centered surgical care in a safe and efficient environment.

The PCA plays a vital role in supporting nurses and the surgical team by ensuring patients are prepared for their procedures and receive exceptional care throughout the pre-operative process. This role requires strong communication, patient-focused service, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with pre-operative preparation, including vital signs, medical histories, and documentation.
