Job summary

Pinnacle GI Partners is seeking a Contingent Patient Care Assistant for our surgical centers in Troy and Macomb, MI. The schedule varies Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00am, and no night or weekend shifts.

We are willing to train candidates with applicable medical facility experience. Responsibilities include pre-op duties such as escorting patients, taking vital signs, and gathering initial information, as well as recovery duties like assisting with discharge, cleaning

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical facility experience preferred.
• Friendly, courteous attitude with strong communication.
• Active listener able to respond promptly and respectfully.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy rules.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to pre-op area and obtain vital signs.
• Obtain initial info re: driver, NPO status and prep results.
• Terminally clean pre-op rooms and restock area.
• Escort patients to vehicles after discharge from the center.
• Clean stretchers and recovery room slots and communicate with staff.
• Provide professional, caring patient care and support.
