Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to provide essential supportive care to pediatric patients and families. This role involves collecting vital signs, ensuring patient safety, and performing various administrative duties. The ideal candidate will possess a Nursing Aide License in Ohio and have strong communication skills, along with a commitment to patient care.
Overview:
0.9 FTE (36 hours per week). Night Shift-7:00pm-7:30am, every other weekend required. Position starts at $19.00/hr, pay to commensurate with experience. $1.75/hr night shift differential, $1.50 weekend shift differential.Job Description Summary:

Education Requirement:
Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent licensure or experience, required.
Licensure Requirement:
Active State Tested Nurse Aide License in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience, required.
Certifications:
Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider), required.
Skills:
Experience:
One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or licensure, required.
