Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Patient Care Assistant who will help patients with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under RN supervision. The role supports a safe care environment across day shifts in a full-time schedule at Saint Francis Hospital.

Qualifications include CNA certification, High School diploma, and preferred phlebotomy/EKG and BLS credentials. Training and benefits are provided to support staff development and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Department: Tele Med/SurgSchedule: Full time days|3-12 hour shifts 7a-7p| Rotating holidays.Facility: St. Francis HospitalLocation: 355 Ridge Ave Evanston, Illinois 60202

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
