Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (CNA) for the MED/SURG unit on a part-time, day-shift schedule. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care, and maintaining a safe environment under the supervision of the RN.

Applicants should have or be pursuing CNA certification, plus BLS, and prefer phlebotomy and EKG credentials. High school diploma required; hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $22.00 to $25.75. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
