Description:
The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for direct patient care tasks as assigned and under the supervision of professional nursing personnel. They also provide indirect care to maintain unit functions as directed by the professional nursing staff, such as caring for and cleaning specific equipment, transporting patients, and stocking supplies and equipment.

Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent.
Certification and Licensure: Certified Nurse Assistant preferred or current nursing student. Current BCLS certification is required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to perform diversified duties within time limitations with a high degree of accuracy.
Preference will be given to applicants pursuing higher education in the healthcare field.
