Position Details

Shift: 7a-7p (Day shift)

Location: Woodland Springs, Conroe, Texas

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor patient safety through checks, safety monitoring, and environment oversight, including 15-minute checks and contraband monitoring.
• Assist RN with patient care tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, documentation, and patient education.
• Manage the milieu to promote positive patient experiences.
• Escort patients to activities and appointments outside the unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting preferred, especially with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a favorable MVR if using personal or hospital vehicle.
• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
