Job summary

Visiting Angels Homecare in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking compassionate Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to provide in-home care for elderly clients. Duties include companionship, light housework, meal prep, and assistance with dressing, bathing, and toileting.

A background check and valid driver’s license are required; hands-on training is available. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts with days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Our Caregivers go into our client's homes to care for the elderly so that they can remain independent.

We do not require a CNA Certificate but we DO REQUIRE that a Patient Care Assistant - PCA on our team is able to provide care for ALL our clients. These tasks include (but not limited to): Companionship, light housework, meal prep, assistance with dressing, bathing, toileting, grooming, and being able to use a mechanical lift when warranted (Hoyer, stand-aid, ect.) Hands on training is available! The office in Sioux Falls provides caregivers for the local area including Hartford, Brandon, Crooks, Tea, Canton, Larchwood IA, Harrisburg, Renner, Valley Springs, Dell Rapids, Luverne MN, and many others.
