Visiting Angels Topeka is seeking a Patient Care Assistant - PCA to provide compassionate in-home care in Topeka and surrounding areas including Lawrence. This role requires dedication, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and overnight.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping, accompany clients to appointments, and monitor health status while following safety protocols.

Patient Care Assistant - PCA Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide transportation for medical appointments and other activities.
• Monitor client's health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols when providing care.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families.
