Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with compassion and teamwork to support direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. This role blends CNA training with bedside support across multiple units in a flexible, part-time schedule.

You will provide essential patient comfort, assist with routine tasks, and participate in a rotating 8- to 12-hour shift pattern with every-other weekend options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• Completion of 12 college credits -OR- High school diploma/ GED with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
• Able to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
• Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Assistant assists staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care which supports and complements nursing practice under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• The Patient Care Assistant carries out delegated skills that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.
• We have openings in Float pool and multiple units across the NWWI region, including Medical Surgical and Telemetry/Progressive Care.
