Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Professional Registered Nurse, the Nurse Assistant performs duties to provide personal health care, clinical service, and comfort to patients in accordance with the Mission, Values, and policies of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.

Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a PCA to join our nursing support team on the Observation unit!

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care tasks as assigned and supervised by professional nursing staff.
• Assist with indirect care activities such as equipment care and cleaning, patient transportation, and supply stocking.

Requirements:

• Certified Nurse Assistant preferred or current nursing student.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior acute care experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
