Job summary

Assisting Hands Deerfield in Illinois is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for clients in Mundelein and surrounding areas. You will offer companionship, personal care assistance, and support with daily activities.

Starting pay is $18.50–$22 per hour with immediate start, 12-hour shifts (8:00am-8:00pm or 8:00pm-8:00am), weekly pay, overtime on hours over 40 and holidays, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Comfortable assisting both male and female clients.
• Experience with personal care tasks.
• Bedbound care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Assist with showering and personal care.
• Assist with meals and fall prevention.
• Provide medication reminders and light housekeeping.
