Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH, seeks a Patient Care Assistant for night shifts (7 pm–7 am). The role is 0.4–0.9 FTE with every fourth weekend and some holiday requirements. Base pay is $19.10/hour plus applicable shift differentials.

You will collect vital signs, assist with procedures, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality while supporting pediatric patients and families under the supervision of an RN or Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent licensure or experience.
• Active State Tested Nurse Aide License in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider).
• One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or licensure.
