Responsibilities

The PCA assists nursing staff with delegated patient care tasks under RN supervision, within the scope of a certified nursing assistant as defined by the Arizona State Board of Nursing. The role requires knowledge of growth and development principles and effective communication of patient status. Flexible hours include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, valid for at least 90 days from start date
• Preferred: Completion of Block 1 in Nursing, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or at least 6 months healthcare experience in the past year

Additional Details

• Exemption Status: Nonexempt
• Compensation: $20.00-$25.09 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time, 3 12-hour night shifts per week (7 pm - 7:30 am), rotating weekends and holidays
