Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Assistant - Med/Surg on the 6th Floor North in Lancaster, PA. This full-time role (FTE 0.90) requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a $2.50/hour night differential.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with basic patient care and related tasks to support patient comfort and needs within the Med/Surg unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, contribute to basic patient care and comfort of the patient.
• Perform non-professional services as assigned to support patient needs.
