Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment and assisting the care team during night shifts. Required qualifications include CNA certification (state-approved), phlebotomy and EKG certifications preferred, and BLS current. Minimum 6 months acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred at hire.
• EKG certification preferred at hire.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
