Job summary

Indiana Regional Medical Center, Inc. seeks a Nursing Assistant to support Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses in the Med-Surg unit. You will assist with daily living activities, meal service, hygiene, mobility, and report changes to the nursing staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience is preferred. BLS certification is preferred or obtainable within one month of hire. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living and patient comfort.
• Serve meals and assist feeding; provide nourishment between meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene for patients.
• Transport patients and report changes to RN/LPN.
• Document actions completed and follow organization policies.
• Protect patient information and maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing education to update knowledge.
