The Patient Care Assistant assists staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, supporting nursing practice under RN supervision. They carry out delegated skills within legal limits for unlicensed nursing personnel.
Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
Additional Qualifications: Completion of 12 college credits or a high school diploma/GED with successful Nursing Assistant training or equivalent. Ability to adapt to unpredictable patient care situations.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Certification will be provided during orientation if not already obtained.
Exemption Status: Nonexempt
Compensation: $18.07 - $24.26/hour
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Schedule: Part Time, 40-59 hours per pay period. Shift details to be discussed at interview.
Weekend Rotation: Typically required, including every other or third weekend. Holiday rotation included.
