Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, intake and output measurements, EKGs, glucometry, phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Documents all assigned responsibilities.
• Follows treatment plan as directed by licensed personnel and communicates changes to the unit-based team.
• Assists in patient mobilization and ensures patient comfort and satisfaction with service.
• Restocks unit supplies and participates in unit-based performance improvement.
• Maintains awareness of unit budget and pursues ongoing professional development and education.
• Assists in orienting and educating new staff.
