About the Role

The Patient Care Assistant II (PCA II) supports patient care activities under RN supervision on inpatient units. The role requires proficiency in medical terminology, communication, organization, and computer skills.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED with relevant technical training
  • Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant certification; nursing students in good standing are exempt from certification requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA
  • Aggression Management certification within 90 days of hire
  • EKG or Phlebotomy competency within 6 months, if applicable
  • Two years of related clinical experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills and proficiency in MS Word and typing

Work Schedule: Weekends, holidays, flexible hours
