Qualifications

• High school diploma required and relevant clinical exposure.
• 1–3 years of experience or active BSN student with clinical rotation completed.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical tasks delegated by the RN, following Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.
• Demonstrate leadership competencies, participate in unit councils, and mentor peers.
• Ensure patient and unit safety, identify hazards, and escalate concerns.
• Provide patient comfort and hygiene, document per policy, anticipate needs.
• Orient patients and families to hospital services and promote clear teamwork communication.
