Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed staff with daily living activities, vital signs, and documentation in the EHR. The role includes assisting with meals, transferring patients, and ensuring rooms are stocked and clean. Onsite position at 2014 Washington Street with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Evening shifts total 32 hours per week (3x8 hours, 3p-11:30p) with rotating weekends/holidays. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care duties including vital signs, bathing, and feeding as assigned.
• Assists with EKGs, phlebotomy, and activities of daily living.
• Documents measurements and intake/output in the EHR.
• Maintains stocked, clean patient rooms and reports equipment malfunctions.
• Supports admitting/discharging processes and 1:1 observation as needed.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff and care team.

**Job Summary**$750.00 Sign-On Bonus 32hr Evenings 3x8hr shifts 3p-11:30p, rotating weekends and holidays Summary Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Performs patient care-related duties and clinical functions as assigned, including, but not limited to, performing and documenting point of care, vital signs, EKGs, bathing and other sanitary needs of patients, transferring and assisting with ambulation of patients, 1:1 patient observation for safety purposes, and phlebotomy.
