Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)-aligned role to support direct and indirect patient care across multiple hospital units in our Wisconsin facility.

The position requires completion of 12 college credits or a high school diploma with CNA training, and a current Basic Life Support certification. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with rotating 8- or 12-hour shifts and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• Completion of 12 college credits OR High school diploma with Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required or will be provided during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care.
• Support nursing practice under RN supervision.
• Care for patients in various hospital units as part of float pool.
