A leading healthcare institution is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to assist patients with daily living activities in the Neuroscience unit. The role involves monitoring vital signs and providing basic hygiene support. Candidates must possess strong patient service skills and preferably have experience in patient care. This full-time position requires rotating weekend and holiday coverage, and a sign-on bonus is offered.

The Neuroscience unit is seeking a Patient Care Assistant, with Day and Evening shift availability, and to provide rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Lunder 7 is a 32-bed unit that regularly admits patients with strokes, head and spinal trauma, as well as general neuromedical and neurosurgical patients.
Clinical experienced applicants preferred for this opportunity. Only full-time applicants will be highly considered for this role.

$750 Sign on Bonus for this role and Referral Bonus available to MGB employees for this position.
Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Experience working in patient care/elder care 1-2 years preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Strong patient/customer service skills. - Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. - Proficient computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records.
