Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Nursing- Support (Clinical) professional to assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and patient transport in a hospital setting in Miami. You will work under an RN and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide compassionate, family-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida CNA or EMT/Paramedic license, BLS certification, and strong communication skills; experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or EMT/Paramedic license.
• American Heart Association BLS in good standing.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, hygiene, nutrition and comfort.
• Take vital signs, heights, weights, and measurements; document in EHR.
• Notify RN of changes in patient condition.
• Restock supplies and assist with room turnover.
• Greet patients and families; provide information on NCH services and support.
• Transport patients for procedures as needed.
