Riverside Health System in Newport News, Virginia is hiring a patient care associate to assist with basic patient care under RN supervision. You will perform tasks such as vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, and data entry into the EMR while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (CNA preferred) and about 1 year of healthcare experience. CPR/BLS is required; EMT-B or CMA/RMA accepted in lieu of CNA.

• 1 year healthcare experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire; EMT-B or CMA/RMA acceptable in lieu of CNA.

Responsabilidades

• Performs basic treatments and ensures patient data is accurately documented in EMR.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and supports patient admissions/discharges as directed.
