Schedule: Full-time, Part-Time, and Per-Diem positions may be available.
Hours / Pay period (2 weeks): Available hours: 72 (Full-time), 48 (Part-Time), and 24 (Per Diem).
Schedule Details: 12-hour shift. Primarily nights (1900-730). Other shifts may be available: Days (700-1930). May be required to float to Hoag Irvine.
Department Description:
Our Staffing Office provides three levels of support to the hospital based on nursing expertise and patient acuity. As a Patient Care Assistant, you’ll be asked to help support the nurses who serve our various medical/surgical units, including Oncology, Pulmonary, Gynecology/Urology, Surgical, Telemetry, and Labor/Delivery/Recovery (additional skills and knowledge of equipment may be required). You’ll work under the direction of a licensed Registered Nurse, assisting in direct patient care by providing Activities for Daily Living, comfort, nutrition, and hygiene needs for adult and senior patients. You’ll also take and record clinical measurements, collect specimens, provide transportation, and maintain equipment and supplies.
