Summary

Position Summary

A caregiver responsible for providing or assisting with patients' care, transporting, maintaining a safe and clean environment, monitoring equipment function, and documenting on appropriate forms. The Patient Care Assistant must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to various age groups according to specific age, developmental, and psycho-social maturity.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months of prior healthcare experience preferred.
• STNA certification preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required, may be obtained within 90 days of hire.
