Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) I to support patient care, ensuring comfort and safety while following the hospital model of care. Work is delegated by a Registered Nurse per Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines and emphasizes cultural sensitivity and collaboration with patients and families.

Responsibilities include clinical tasks assigned by the RN, maintaining patient confidentiality, and contributing to a safe and comfortable patient environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience.
• Certification: AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.

Care is culturally sensitive and age-appropriate, and all duties are delegated by a Registered Nurse according to Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.
