Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Rehab Aide to perform routine patient care under the supervision of a licensed therapist or therapy assistant. The role supports therapists, participates in team meetings, and assists with safe transfers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 0-1 year rehab experience, and solid communication, bedside manner, and physical strength to assist immobile patients. Onsite role at 300 Ocean Avenue with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
• Licenses and Credentials: Experience.
• Experience: Experience working as a Rehab Aid 0-1 year preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, attention to detail, communication and teamwork are important.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for treatment by therapist.
• Assists therapists during therapy.
• Attends and actively participates in team meetings.
• Transfers and transports patients in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintains equipment and working area in clean, orderly condition.
