Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in an accredited healthcare facility preferred.
• BLS certification required; multiple certifications accepted (CNA, MA, CMHT, RBT, EMT, Paramedic) as applicable.
• One year of direct patient care in an acute setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed nursing staff in providing patient care on the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Provides observer/sitter services for patients requiring constant observation.
• Provides clerical support for unit functions and care documentation.
