Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care within the PCA scope of practice.
• Assists in admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Explains care to patients and families prior to treatment; answers questions within scope.
• Demonstrates flexibility, organization, and ability to work under stress.
• Responds to emergencies or distressed patients.
• Documentations must meet current standards and policies.
• Accountability for appropriate use of resources.
• Performs other duties within PCA scope.
