Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Technician/UAP to assist in individualized patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN. The role emphasizes teamwork, safe patient handling, and adherence to state training requirements.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CNA/CPCT enrollment or completion of Mercy's UAP training; BLS within one month; and ability to lift 50 pounds with standing/walking throughout shifts. Prior EMT/CPCT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• Completion of PCT competencies within 3 months of hire.
• Preferred EMT/CPCT experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under the RN or LPN.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks.
• Work cooperatively as part of a team to meet patient care goals.
