Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, direct to departments, and inform of wait times.
• Maintain a positive, customer-oriented demeanor.
• Perform patient-centered secretarial tasks including physician order entry and chart management; disassemble and file after discharge.
• Protect patient confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with rounding, call lights, and patient requests.
• Set up, remove, and clean equipment; identify malfunctioning equipment.
• Monitor units and patient rooms for supply availability.
