Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging is seeking a Billing/AR specialist to address and resolve complex patient inquiries and billing-related issues across eligibility, claims, denials, appeals, and patient balances. You will respond to member calls and emails and work under supervision of Billing and AR manager.

Position requires knowledge of billing and healthcare field; offers benefits including PTO, 401(k) match, annual increases, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1-year recent work experience in related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address complex patient inquiries across eligibility, claims, denials, appeals, refunds, and financial assistance.
• Log and track appeals and communicate with payers on claim dispositions.
• Resolve billing operational issues such as missing authorizations or incomplete hospital data.
• Research denials according to regulatory guidelines and respond.
• Review pending collection accounts and coordinate with third-party collections.
