Job summary

DRH Health is seeking a financial navigator in the revenue cycle to manage patient balances, insurance denials, and claim denials. The role posts payments, sets up payment plans, and follows up on unpaid accounts.

You will communicate with patients, review accounts, assist with charity care applications, and ensure proper reimbursement per contracts and regulations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in medical claims recovery and/or collections preferred.
• Familiarity with billing rules and denial management.

Responsibilities

• Accurately posts payments and creates payment plans for upcoming services and outstanding balances.
• Reviews balances and communicates to patients and other affected parties about outstanding balances.
• Assists patients in resolving account questions and concerns.
• Responsible for coordinating and completing financial assistance applications for charity care.
• Contacting payers to obtain reimbursement for unpaid accounts and researching denials.
