Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross) must be obtained within one month of hire.
• Billing systems and third-party claims experience or medical office setting required (4 years).
• BLS certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
• Driver's license not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff performance to ensure quality care and compliance.
• Ensure appointments are scheduled per procedures, including scheduling transactions, registration review, pre-arrival processes and HIPAA acknowledgement documentation.
• Triaging patient calls, tasks and emails; coordinate with providers as needed.
• Assist in managing providers’ schedules, scheduling templates and master schedules.
• Coordinate training and onboarding for new procedures and staff, under management guidance.
• Coordinate staff vacations, schedules and coverage; assist with timesheets and accruals.
• Plan orientation and training for new personnel under management guidance.
• Coordinate ordering and monitoring of supplies and equipment as needed.
• Maintain skills/competencies; participate in trainings and cross-training as required.
• Comply with OSHA, state and federal regulatory sources/standards.
