Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Experience in financial counseling or hospital billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Perform collection functions for self-pay and insured accounts with large deductibles/co-pays.
• Collect or negotiate point of service payments and link to financial assistance programs.
• Document activities clearly in account notes and databases.
• Explain patient responsibility and third-party coverage, billing procedures and estimates.
