Job summary

Ridgeview Medical Center is seeking an accounts receivable professional responsible for submission, reconciliation and collection of all AR for the hospital. The role involves posting payments, resolving billing issues and responding to inquiries from payers and patients.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of medical billing experience or proven problem-solving, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of professional medical billing experience or demonstrated problem solving, attention to detail, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Process claim submissions and resubmissions after corrections.
• Review aging accounts receivable and monitor insurance claims.
• Post payments accurately to patient accounts.
• Answer inquiries regarding insurance and billing.
• Perform remittance reconciliation.
• Provide courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
• Stay updated on insurance policies and billing guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
