• Manage work queue, aging lists, and claims correspondence to ensure timely payment.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of billing data; correct errors.
• Read and interpret denied claims to resolve discrepancies; resubmit or appeal as needed.
• Review aging accounts to collect due amounts or escalate for collections.
• Document follow-ups and maintain supporting notes; verify remittance compliance.
• Audit and resolve discrepancies on patient accounts; review for non-covered procedures and adjust as guidelines.
• Answer inquiries from patients; relay or obtain account information.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, proprietary, and employee information.
• Interact professionally with customers; respond promptly to service requests.
• Demonstrate company mission and values in department processes and environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
