Providence is seeking a Referral Coordinator to prepare clinical data for approvals and obtain authorizations. You will act as a liaison among patients, MAs, physicians, IPP, CMS, and the Central Business Office in a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with medical terminology, coding and medical charting.
• Upon hire: Medical Assistant Certification (CMA).

Responsibilities

• Prepare clinical data for physician/IPP/CBO approval and obtain authorizations.
• Serve as liaison between patient, medical assistant, physician, IPP, CMS Department and Central Business Office.
