Description

Provides efficient, accurate, and effective customer focused communication services, pre-registration of new patients and verification of registration for established patients. Obtains insurance eligibility verification for all patients. Verifies insurance benefits and obtains referral authorizations. Provides routine and complex financial counseling to patients, researches routine and complex billing issues. Works collaboratively with the back office teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Required Qualifications:
  • 1 year Health care or insurance experience
  • Prior experience in liaison role for providers and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Patient third party eligibility verification experience on an automated patient accounts system
  • Experience with coding: ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
