A leading company is seeking a Patient Assistance Counselor II to provide support to patients with limited insurance coverage. This role involves reviewing applications, conducting insurance investigations, and delivering high-quality customer service. *Description*
The Patient Assistance Counselor II (PAC) provides support to patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or have limited benefit coverage, as well as those with high out-of-pocket prescription and medical expenses, potentially qualifying them for the AbbVie Patient Assistance Program. The PAC delivers high-quality customer service to both patients and healthcare providers (HCPs) for specialty prescription medications provided by the program. Responsibilities include reviewing application documents, conducting insurance investigations when applicable, assessing patients' financial information, and providing outcome statuses to patients and HCPs.
*Hours of operation are 7am-7pm CST.*
*Training will run from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm CST for 6-10 weeks.*
*Post-training, shifts will be assigned based on business needs.*
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on job classification and employment length. Benefits may include:
