Job description

The Patient Assistance Counselor II (PAC) plays a vital role in supporting patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing high out-of-pocket medical and prescription costs. These patients may qualify for assistance through the Patient Assistance Program (PAP). The PAC delivers exceptional customer service to both patients and healthcare providers (HCPs), facilitating access to specialty medications provided by the PAP.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating and reviewing application documentation.
  • Conducting insurance investigations when applicable.
  • Assessing patients' financial information.
  • Communicating outcome statuses to patients and HCPs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.80/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be specific to elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits may include:
