Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Patient Assessment Standards Coordinator to ensure accurate data extraction from clinical docs and timely Medicare submissions. You will educate staff on proper documentation and serve as the primary resource for IRF-PAI coding and CMS transmissions.

The role emphasizes process improvement for QI coding, data collection, and ensuring complete, compliant patient records across the IRF-PAI workflow.

Formación

• Licensed clinician with healthcare credentials.
• QI Credentialed required.
• Ability to perform patient assessments.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Attend EHC IRF-PAI trainings.

Responsabilidades

• Extract data accurately from clinical documentation.
• Coordinate timely submission of data for Medicare patients.
• Educate and support staff on proper documentation.
• Serve as primary resource for Quality Indicator coding and IRF-PAI completion.
• Improve processes of QI coding and data collection for IRF-PAI.
• Ensure IRF-PAI data is entered and transmitted correctly.
• Transmit IRF-PAI data to CMS/UDS within required time frames.
• Review and collect data for IRF-PAI completion.
• Collaborate on identifying comorbidities or CMG/RIC categories.
