Encompass Health is hiring a Patient Assessment Standards Coordinator to ensure accurate data extraction from clinical documentation and timely submission for Medicare patients. You will support staff and lead IRF-PAI coding and CMS/UDS transmission, improving data collection processes across the team.

The role emphasizes clinical licensing, problem-solving, and collaboration within rehab/post-acute care settings, with a focus on high-quality patient assessments and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed or certified clinician in healthcare.
• 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Attend EHC IRF-PAI trainings.
• Preferred: experience in rehab or post-acute care; strong teaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract accurate data from clinical documentation.
• Coordinate timely submission of data for Medicare patients.
• Educate and support staff on proper documentation.
• Serve as primary resource for Quality Indicator coding and IRF-PAI completion.
• Improve processes for IRF-PAI data collection and coding.
• Ensure IRF-PAI data is entered and transmitted to CMS/UDS on schedule.
