Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking an IRF PAI Coordinator for PRN coverage in Macon, GA. This role supports inpatient rehabilitation by coordinating timely completion of the Patient Assessment Instrument and providing clinical data support to ensure accurate functional status reflections.

Responsibilities include safeguarding patient confidentiality, assisting with benchmark monitoring, and working under the Rehab Program Director.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a licensed clinician in an acute hospital or rehabilitation setting (IRF, LTAC, SNF, NH)
• RN/PT/OT/ST licensure required or eligible
• Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely completion of the Patient Assessment Instrument (PAI) for each inpatient
• Provide clinical support to ensure accurate scoring of functional status
• Monitor identified benchmarks for the inpatient population
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy of records

Responsibilities

The IRF Patient Assessment Instrument Coordinator functions under the Rehab Program Director. Provides coordination for the timely and accurate completion of the Patient Assessment Instrument for each rehabilitation inpatient. This individual provides clinical support in completion of data contained in the PAI for each patient to ensure accuracy in the scoring of functional status and reflection of the patient's care needs. In addition, this position may assist in the ongoing monitoring of identified benchmarks for the inpatient population. The IRF PAI Coordinator will have access to confidential patient information and maintains confidentiality of all information.

• Associate's Degree Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience as a licensed clinician (RN, PT, OT, ST) in an acute hospital or rehabilitation setting (IRF, LTAC, SNF, NH) Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Must have at least one of the following: Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required or
• PT - Physical Therapist Required or
