Job summary

Mercy in Sunset Hills, MO seeks a Patient Ambassador to provide patient-focused support across food and nutrition services, linen, laundry, housekeeping, and supply management. You will work under the Patient Food Services Manager.

At applicable locations, you may operate TUG robots to deliver and exchange supplies and meals to nursing units, contributing to compassionate, efficient care. This role emphasizes clear English communication, learning new skills, and a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Interest in learning new skills and growth of your role in the department.
• Additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-focused support across food and nutrition services, linen, laundry, housekeeping, and supply management.
• Operate TUG robots for delivery and exchange of supplies and patient meals where applicable.
• Work under the supervision of the Patient Food Services Manager and align with Mercy Service Standards.

At applicable locations, the Patient Ambassador operates TUG robots for the delivery and exchange of supplies and patient meals to the nursing unit. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
