+ We are hiring immediately for full-time PATIENT AMBASSADOR positions.

+ Location: St. Louis Children's Hospital - 1 Children's Place, Saint Louis, MO 63110. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, including rotating weekends; more details upon interview.

+ Requirement: No experience necessary.

+ Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary

As a Patient Ambassador, you will serve as the primary representative of the Patient Experience Team for your unit, responsible for completing patient interviews and new admission visits successfully.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conduct new admission visits within the timeframe established by leadership.
  2. Demonstrate respectful, hospitable behavior toward patients and staff.
  3. Support patient satisfaction initiatives to ensure account retention.
  4. Promote awareness of the Patient Experience Program.
  5. Assist in customizing programs to meet each account's needs.
  6. Develop and monitor patient satisfaction action plans and report outcomes.
  7. Encourage employee engagement and recognize successes.
  8. Perform housekeeping tasks as requested, ensuring standards are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to meet goals using environmental knowledge.
  • Fiscal and budget management skills.
